We are delighted that you have entrusted us with the education of your child. Our staff is ready to provide your child with a variety of learning opportunities that focus on the social, emotional, physical and cognitive areas of development. We hope to instill a lifetime love of learning in our students.


My Little Red Schoolhouse has been certified as a National APPLE Accredited School! APPLE (Accredited Professional Preschool Learning Environment) is a national early learning program accreditation.

We look forward to providing continued excellence in education for our children.

Our Services

My Little Red Schoolhouse offers full-day, year-round child care and early education for children ages 1 through school age, located in Lake City, Florida. Every classroom follows an education-first approach, using the Frog Street curriculum with structured learning built into each day.

✏️ Toddler Care — Our youngest classroom, for children ages one and up, building early language, motor and social-emotional foundations.

✏️ Preschool — Advancing into early literacy, math concepts and the skills children need to be ready for VPK and kindergarten.

✏️ VPK (Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten) — Florida's free VPK Program of Excellence, preparing four-year-olds for kindergarten success.

✏️ After School Care — Continued learning and academic support for school-age children after the school day ends.

✏️ Summer Camp — An education-first summer program that keeps kids learning and engaged, with structured activities built around skill-building.

Both Ms. Heaven and Ms. Pooh are fantastic teachers! I'm so thankful my daughters are in good hands and learning so much. Watching my 4-year-old learn how to write her name and my 3-year-old learn colors and shapes is wonderful. Huge thanks to these amazing teachers for providing such a great environment! My son is in the 2 yr old class with Ms. Pooh. She has been an amazing teacher. My son loves her. Me as a parent love how attentive she is to the kids. My son has learned so much being in Ms Pooh’s class. We love it there!!! Would highly recommend. My daughter absolutely loves her daycare. The environment is great for her growth. Schools with this credential meet higher-quality standards for learning, teacher training and child care.
